Please no eating in class/the lab at any time.
Grades will be based on classwork, projects, test, quizzes, labs, participation, and homework. Grades are based on a point system which gets translated into a percentage. Please be aware that I do not round grades or assign extra credit work.
Grades will be assigned as the following:
A 100-90%
B 89-80%
C 79-70%
D 69-60%
F 59-0%
HOMEWORK
Homework is due the next day unless otherwise announced.
ABSENT
If you feel sick, please stay home!
If you are absent it is your responsibility to check the board, google classroom, or with the teacher for any work that you missed.
In order to receive full credit for absent work, assignment(s) need to be fully completed, properly labeled, marked with "Absent Work" at the top, and turned into the absent work tray in class.
The due date for excused absent work is extended by the same number of days as you were absent from my class. .
LATE WORK
All assignments are expected to be turned in on time. Points will be deducted from any assignment turned in late at teacher's discretion.
Projects = -10% per day late
Classwork = half credit for late submissions
I will not accept any late work after the 5-week grading period is over.
TECHNOLOGY
Technology comes with responsibility!!! When you come to class please do not take out your Acer or personal computer unless instructed by the teacher. Gaming, internet browsing, YouTube, social media, or shopping is NOT allowed. Stay on task when using your computer.
Cell Phones: Students should keep cell phones off and put away and NOT have them out during school hours (8:50am-3:12pm).
You are NEVER allowed to use your phone to take pictures or videos of other students in class.
LABS
Always follow lab safety rules
Be respectful of group members and lab equipment
Read and follow directions
Labs are usually not assigned as homework. You will need to complete labs in the time allotted.
If your behavior is not acceptable, you will be suspended for the lab period, earn a zero on the assignment and other appropriate consequences may be applied.
