HOMEWORK:
I believe that homework is an integral part of any science course as it offers an opportunity to apply and reinforce what was taught in the classroom. On the nights' homework is not assigned, your child should be reviewing vocab and notes discussed throughout all units .*
**All work that is turned in must have the student’s full name and science period on it. Points are deducted for turning in assignments without this information.
LATE WORK:
There is plenty of time given in class for activities/labs if the time is used efficiently.
Late Credit is as follows for late classwork or homework: One day late: 25% off of the original point value. Two days late: 50% off of the original point value until the chapter test is completed.
After the chapter test: 75% off of the original point value. After 30 days, the assignment can no longer be turned in for points. Students who have an excused absence will have additional days to complete an assignment depending on how many days they were absent.
All work that is turned in must have the student’s full name and science period on it. Points are deducted for turning in assignments without this information. Make sure late homework goes in the LATE HOMEWORK basket right by Mrs.Reynolds desk.
(NOTE: All of this information is discussed in class with all students, and repeated many times throughout the year).
***All work that is turned in must have the student’s full name and science period on it. Points are deducted for turning in assignments without this information.
