In 6th grade ELA, my goal is to bring in the variety of learning styles and starting lines that come from all the wonderful elementary schools you've attended and bring everyone to a similar level of understanding of writing and reading. We'll be engaging with a variety of literature and learning to write a variety of styles and texts. As they read and write, we'll be building on their critical thinking, speaking, listening, spelling, and grammar skills and working on different types of assignments and projects.
