12/2 The information for your ORB (Biography) Project has been posted. Read it over. We will talk about it more next class. The class review pages for the Short Story Unit test has been posted on Google Classroom, as well. Remember that the more you add to it, the more likely you are to get the information that will be quizzed on the test. Everyone is working on the same documents, so you can help each other out. It's a student-generated review.
11/21 & 11/22 Finish "The Cold Equations" comprehension questions if you didn't finish in class.
11/19 & 11/20 Read "The Cold Equations" and be ready for a five-question quiz next class. Read your biography, too. This is week three out of four.
11/14 & 11/15 Read "There Will Come Soft Rains" and complete the annotations. Be ready for a five-point quiz, but I might just collect the annotations instead. You should be halfway through your biography by the end of the weekend.
11/7 & 11/8 Read "The Storyteller" and be ready for a five-question quiz next class. We have Monday off, so the quiz will be during the next block class. You need to be reading your biography by now. This is week one out of four.
11/5 & 11/6 Finish Adverb work if you didn't finish it in class.
10/31 & 11/4 Finish the Comprehension questions to "The Cask of Amontillado" if you didn't finish them in class.
10/28 Read "The Cask of Amontillado" and be ready for a five-question quiz next class. Also, get your biography approved by me by 11/5 (Period 3) or 11/6 (Periods 4, 6, & 7)

Expect a five-question quiz the next block period. (That's Tuesday for Periods 1 & 7. That's Wednesday for Periods 4 & 6.) Keep working on your Google Slides Project. Try to be done by the next block period so that you can spend class time checking each other's work.
