2025-2026 Supply List

Ms. Kargari's SUPPLY LIST:

• The #1 MOST important item to bring is: YOUR INDEPENDENT READING BOOK! This will be an ELA requirement and you will earn daily credit for having your book with you...this can be FREE points! Just be sure to have a book with you. 😃📚 Reminder, this is ANY book of your choice! Something that you ENJOY! • 1 Gallon Ziploc Bag (for your Independent Reading Book) - this is to keep your book protected from the inside of your backpack. 

• 1 College Ruled Composition Notebook:

• School ID card: you'll use this to check out books in the library – woohoo!

SUGGESTED SUPPLIES (the following suggestions DON'T have to be in your backpack each day...I will give you a heads up when we we need these materials)

• A red pen: for editing & correcting your work.

• 2 sharpened pencils: we will be writing a lot! 

• 4 highlighters (any 4 colors): usually we use 4 colors for notes and annotating text. If you have 4 colors, that will make it easier when you are taking notes, and you can choose which colors you would like to use! If you would like, you can use colored pens or pencils instead, just make sure you have a sharpener for colored pencils! We will not use the highlighters every day. Ms. Kargari will remind you before highlighter days!

• School laptop and charger: please make sure you charge your laptop every night! You will use the laptop A LOT! You will NOT be reminded to bring your laptop every day... also, you should have your charger if your laptop charge doesn't last all day! (We’ll check out laptops from the library!)

• Earphones or earbuds: we will use these in class with our laptops often, so make sure you bring them every day! Earbuds are small and easy to carry with your laptop... you can use the same ones that you use with a cellphone, as long as they connect to your laptop!

• AR book: by Monday, 8/25, you will need to start bringing your choice of AR book every day! You must ALWAYS have an AR book for independent reading. You can get one from anywhere! Home! AC Stelle’s library! The Calabasas library! Ms. Kargari's library! If you finish a book, make sure you check out a new one so you always have something to read! (Must be a book you have not read previously!)

OPTIONAL CLASSROOM DONATIONS GRATEFULLY ACCEPTED ALL YEAR:

Donations: if you're able to donate any boxes of Kleenex or disinfecting wipes, Ms. Kargari would appreciate it! Having lots of tissues helps us keep our noses happy and our classroom healthier! We also have a BEAUTIFUL classroom library that has been made even more special by thoughtful book donations to our room! This is not a requirement, but is very appreciated if you're able to donate! 😁 

• Tissues (for happy noses)

• Clorox wipes or others similar 

• Used middle school appropriate reading books for our always growing classroom library!
