Home Workout Resources

We Miss You!

Your teachers, coaches, athletic directors, athletic trainers, and administrators all miss you and look forward to the time we are all back in school. You can use the resources below to stay active and healthy while you're away from school. Students, athletes, staff, and parents, you can find some great resources here for staying active and healthy at home. Athletes, your individual coaches may also be reaching out to you to provide workouts at home/outside and check in on you. We recognize the disappointment of not being able to compete, spend time with your friends, be active at school, and do the things you love the most at this time. Stay positive, stay healthy, stay in shape while you are at home. There are tabs on this site for each sport season that include sport specific workouts as well. If you have some at-home workout resources you have found to be awesome, please email Mr. Lepisto at glepisto@lvusd.org or Ms. Fox at lfox@lvusd.org so we can add them to this site.

Regular exercise and mindfulness activities are essential during times of crisis. Exercise and mindfulness activities help mitigate depression and anxiety while improving cognition and confidence. Develop a daily routine for both, even if it is as simple as a 15-minute walk and/or quiet time with deep breathing. (Source: www.ncaa.org/sport-science-institute/topics/covid-19-and-mental-health).
