How many books can a student check out?
Students in Grades TK/K may borrow one book at a time.
Students in Grades 1 may borrow two books at a time
Students in Grades 2 through 5 may borrow three books at a time.

What happens if my book is lost/damaged?
A book is considered lost once 30 days have passed since the original due date. Students with lost or damaged books are unable to check out any library materials.
Lost/damaged books must be paid for in order to clear student records and reinstate library privileges.
Payments can be made via the LVUSD site, and a copy of the receipt must be brought to the library.
A substitute book of the same kind (i.e. hardcover) may be purchased and given to the library.
Records of the lost item stay with the student throughout their K-12 time.
