Work Permits

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK PERMIT

MUST BE FILLED OUT IN PEN

1. Print and fill out the Work Permit Form

2. Collect necessary signatures:

• • Student Signature

  • Parent/Guardian Signature

  • Employer must fill out the B1-1 form: “Statement of Intent to Employ a Minor and Request for a Work Permit-Certificate of Age” (Form is in Black Box in Step 2)

3. Submit completed form to the College & Career Center

4. Wait for processing

• The school will review the completed and signed B1-1 form and will issue the B1-4 (Work Permit). 

Processing time usually takes up to 48 hours. You will receive an email when your work permit is ready for pick up at the College & Career Center.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 & have great attendance to be considered for a work permit 

Academic performance and other applicable requirements may be considered when revieweing each work permit request
