I am thrilled to be your child's second grade teacher this year! I have been teaching elementary school for 20 years. I am a lifelong learner that just completed a Master of Arts program in Reading at Grand Canyon University. This is my second career. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a CPA with Ernst & Young for over 15 years. When my eldest son entered kindergarten, I volunteered to be the Room Mom. I volunteered as much as I could and it was then that I knew I wanted to be an elementary school teacher. I am the mother of two amazing young men. One is a SCAD alumni. He lives in Florida and designs theme parks. The other is a USC alumni working in private equity. My husband and I enjoy traveling, bicycling and relaxing in our backyard.
