Physical Appearance and symbols 

The most common symbols of Artemis are connected with her role as goddess of the hunt, that is, with a bow and arrow in a woodland setting and surrounded by animals. These depictions also frequently include her chariot drawn by her sacred animal, the deer. (Moran).
