Columbine Rebels Baseball

Tommy graduated from Columbine High School in 2001. Following his time as a Rebel, he continued his baseball career at the Colorado School of Mines, where he was a four-year letter winner as a middle infielder while earning a degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Economics.

After spending 17 years in the oil and gas industry, Tommy made the decision to pursue his passion for coaching, mentoring young athletes, and investing in families throughout our community. His journey has included coaching competitive baseball and softball teams, providing private instruction, founding The Dugout indoor training facility, and helping it eventually expand into opportunities for athletes through what it is now, Prolific Sports. He has also dedicated significant time to operating a nonprofit organization focused on making quality instruction and competitive opportunities accessible to athletes from all backgrounds.

Tommy's vision for Columbine Baseball is centered on building a culture where student-athletes strive for excellence in the classroom, compete with confidence on the field, and represent our school with pride in everything they do. Tommy's coaching philosophy is built on consistency, preparation, and relationships. He believes that championship programs are created through daily habits, attention to detail, and a commitment to one another. Tommy wants Columbine Baseball to be known for playing fundamentally sound baseball, competing fearlessly in pressure situations, and bringing energy and enthusiasm to every practice and game.  

Most importantly, Tommy understands what it means to wear the Columbine uniform.  He appreciates the tradition, pride, and expectations that come with being a Rebel, and he is eager to build strong relationships with our players, families, alumni, and youth baseball community.
