About Me

Hi, my name is Brianna Hughes! I am currently a full-time AAC Specialist with Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District. 

I previously wore a variety of hats including SLP, AAC Specialist, and AT Specialist in our neighbor district, Castro Valley Unified. 

I am an employee of Communication Works, a graduate of the CSUN Assistive Technology Applications Certificate Program (ATACP), and have my M.A. and Bilingual Certificate in Speech-Language Pathology from SDSU, as well as a B.A. in Linguistics from UCSD. As an SLP, I hold a CTC Credential, California Board License, and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. 

In my spare time you can find me riding a motorcycle, dancing, or hanging out with my husband and cat.
