August Professional Learning Academy

La Vernia ISD will host our 2022-2023 Professional Learning Conference on August 9 and 10, 2022. This year’s conference-style format offers a wide variety of learning opportunities delivered both face-to-face and virtually. We hope this format will provide a more personalized professional learning experience as you prepare for the upcoming school year. We are excited about the sessions and hope you will be as well!!

Important Conference Information:

• Conference session registration opens on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.

• Teachers and Instructional Staff will need to attend a total of 12 hours worth of professional learning over the 2-day period (Aug 9-10).

• The professional learning should be selected from offerings within this LVISD Professional Learning Conference catalog. Please scroll down through this conference catalog to find session descriptions, locations, times, and registration links.

• To help with planning your daily schedule we’ve provided a content/grade level guide. To view guides click on the Personal Professional Learning Schedules for your campus below: (paper copies will be provided at campus)

Primary Intermediate Junior High High School

• Your completed Personal Professional Learning Schedule will be turned in to your Department Lead on or before Monday, August 13.

Please note: Annual Compliance Courses are NOT eligible for LVISD Professional Learning August 9-10 credit.
