LVDA Adult Teams

If you're interested in joining an enthusiastic and motivated group of adult amateur riders and want to have tons of fun, please contact our Adult Team Chair, Aileen Williams!  Aileen can also get you signed up for the Adult Team Competition Committee (we have an active Google Chat!). 

Adult Amateurs not necessarily interested in competing are welcome too!

Come and hang out with us as a "Support Team Member" for the opportunity to meet and support other adult members of LVDA.  Our goal with the adult team is not just to compete, but to build relationships and provide our members with the opportunities to learn and grow as dressage riders while supporting Team Events and LVDA.  

Everyone who joins the Adult Team Chat will be kept up to date on team social activities, team learning opportunities, and will be informed when and where they can tailgate and cheer for their friends if they are not also riding.

In 2024 we're still looking at the opportunities for team competition, so far: 

• August 22-24 Dunmovin Dressage Days

• October 19, 2024 Bucks County Horse Park Team Challenge

Adult Team Guidelines

​

Teams:

• Consist of 3 to 4 riders

• May be a specific level or mixed levels

• A horse/rider combination can participate on only ONE team in a competition

• A rider may participate in more than one team on a different horse

• The teams must follow the Competition Host's rules

Rider Qualifications:

• Must be a paid-up adult member of LVDA
