Graduate of Seaford High School, Bachelor's degree in Physical Education From Towson University, Master’s Degree in Corporate Fitness from Towson University. Also certified in health education.
Teaching in LVCSD since 2001. Prior to that, Ms. Vera was the Director of Recreational Fitness at Southwest Texas State University and also the Director of Fitness for the Department of Commerce in Washington DC. She has coached Cheer, Tennis and Track and Field at Locust Valley MS. Ms. Vera lives in West Islip with her husband and two daughters.

Physical Education
Ms. Pacifico grew up in that little Bayville beach town about a mile away, participating in the Bayville Little League and the Locust Valley Soccer Club.
It all started for Ms. Pacifico at the Bayville Primary and Intermediate Schools. From Kindergarten through 6th grade her early teachers, some of the best, molded her mind and prepared me for the Locust Valley Middle and High Schools. When she reached the 7th grade her athletic career and success had begun. Ms. Pacifico immediately took to our athletic program participating on the Middle School soccer, volleyball, basketball and softball teams. Her HS athletic career was both rewarding and enriching. The participation on these JV and Varsity teams, with great coaches and awesome teammates, and the opportunities she was given then, has shaped Ms. Pacifico into who I am today. After graduating from Locust Valley, she went to Hofstra University and received a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. Ms. Pacifico received her Masters Degree from Stony Brook University.
Ms. Pacifico then began her coaching career back at Locust Valley in 1998 to coach MS soccer... and she has been here ever since. She has coached MS soccer, volleyball and softball, as well as Varsity soccer, basketball, bowling and softball. In 2007, Ms. Pacifico was lucky enough to receive a position as a Physical Education teacher at the Middle school/High school.
Her parents, my brothers, my aunts, my uncles, and my cousins have all walked these hallways. Ms. Pacifico considers herself lucky to have been given this great opportunity; to live, to grow, to play and now work, coach and mentor the current students of this community and district.
