Please see Mr. Menden or Ms. Bins if you are interested & to get signed-up. Thank you!
The turkey teacher fundraiser is back again this year. Each participating teacher will be on the bulletin board in the lunch room. For $1, students can purchase a feather to add to a teacher of their choice. For $2, students can steal a feather from one teacher and add it to another. Student Council members will sell feathers at both lunches from Monday, November 13 to Friday, November 17. The teacher with the most feathers at the end of the competition has to wear the turkey costume the day before Thanksgiving break. The proceeds go to a fund in the district that supports students when no other fund can be used (example: eye exams, eyeglasses, replacement diplomas).

Last night the varsity volleyball team sweapt Winneconne to advance to the WIAA Regional Final. Running the balance offense was Alayna Deprez with 31 assists, 5 digs and 4 aces. The offense was spread out with Aubrey Frey leading the way with 10 kills, Jacinda Bennett had 7 kills, Cami Onell and Miranda Schmidt each had 6 kills and Ella Vander Velden chipped in 5 kills. Payton Kaminski was on fire in the back row with 18 digs and Serve Received a 2.27. The team returns to action tomorrow night as they travel to Appleton to take on Fox Valley Lutheran for a Regional Championship. We would love to see the gym at FVL packed with Maroon and Gold!! See you there.......First serve is set for 7:00 PM.

Last night the varsity volleyball team opened up Regional play with a sweep of New London. Alayna Deprez had 24 assists, 10 digs and 5 aces to set to table for the Spartans. Miranda Schmidt lead the offense with 9 kills, 2 blocks, and 3 aces. Aubrey Frey added 8 kills, 7 digs, and 6 aces and Cami Onell chipped in 6 kills. Defensivley the team was lead by Payton Kaminski with 14 digs. The team returns to action tomorrow night when they host Wineconne in a Regional Semi-Final at 7:00. We would love to see you at the match!!

On Friday the cross country team competed in the Russ Fameree invite at Northbrook. Nearly everyone ran their best race of the season. The girls finished third led by Claire DuChateau, McKenna Rank, and Cady Bevins. The boys finished fifth and were led by Kyan Lynts, Jonathan Salentine, and Alex DeGrave.
The Varsity Soccer team hosted Peshtigo on Friday night, and came away with a 6-0 victory. Johan Amador had three goals and three assists, Reese Barbiaux had two goals and one assist, Zak Patek had one goal and one assist, and Ethan Vandenhouten also had an assist. Goalkeeper Carson Koller and the defense earned the clean sheet. Come cheer on the team at home for Senior Night tomorrow night against Fox Valley Lutheran!
There will be a short FBLA meeting tomorrow morning at 7:25 in Ms. Bins's classroom.
On Saturday the varsity volleyball team traveled to Milwaukee for the Dasher Invite at Divine Savior Holy Angles. Finishing in 7th place going 2-2, beating Whitefish Bay and Kettle Moraine Lutheran and losing to Chippewa Falls and Divine Savior Holy Angles. Alayna Deprez led a balanced offensive attack with 90 assists and 22 digs. Aubrey Frey had 29 kills, 50 digs, and 7 aces, Jacinda Bennett had 23 kills, Ella VanderVelden added 18 kills and Mirand Schmidt chipped in 17 kills. Defensivly Payton Kaminski had 46 digs and 5 aces. The team returns home this week, with 3 home matches. Tuesday they welcome in #2 ranked Fox Valley Lutheran for Pink Out Night. Please were pink and bring the energy for this huge match up with the conference championship on the line.

The 52nd Russ Fameree Cross Country Meet will be held on Friday, October 6th at Northbrook Golf Club. Come out and cheer on your favorite runner! Boys Varsity Race begins at 4:05 pm followed by the Girls Varsity Race at 4:40. The Boys and Girls JV Race will begin at 5:15 pm.
October FFA meeting will be tonight from 6-8PM. Please bring clothing order forms as they are due today. FFA Alumni Toy Show and Craft Fair is this Sunday (10/8) from 9AM-2PM in the high school gym.

Last night the varsity volleyball team traveld to Waupaca and pick up a big road victory sweeping the Comets. Alayna Deprez paced the offense with 24 assists and 13 digs, Jacinda Bennett had a big night with 12 kills and 3 blocks, Aubrey Frey added 9 kills, 17 digs, and 4 aces and Ella Vander Velden chipped in 8 kills. Defensivly the team was lead by Payton Kaminski 21 digs and 3 aces and Rylan Kaminski who had 17 digs. The team returns home next week for a HUGE matchup with fellow unbeated and #2 ranked Fox Valley Lutheran. It is also Pink Out Night, so come out support a great and worth cause and watch some great volleyball.

The cross country team competed at the Pioneer Invite in Sevastapol yesterday. The boys finished third led by Kyan Lynts, Derek Christoph, and Marcis Doell. The girls finished fourth and were led by Claire DuChateau, McKenna Rank, and Grace Havel. Next up is our home meet next Friday at Northbrook.

This year's volleyball Pink Out night will be held on Tuesday, October 10th. As part of our fundraising efforts for Ribbon of Hope, we will again be holding a special student raffle for a Teacher's Parking Lot Pass. This pass will be good for one quarter during the rest of the school year. Volleyball players will begin selling tickets during the lunch hour on Tuesday and continue until the day of the event. There will be 2 winners drawn. The first will get his/her pick of 2nd, 3rd or 4th quarter. The second winner will get to choose between what is left. Thank you for your support of our event! Again, the sale of tickets starts during lunch on Tuesday, October 3rd.

Aubrey Frey lead all attackers with 10 kills and added 10 digs, Jacinda Bennett had 9 kills and 3 blocks, Miranda Schmidt added 8 kills. Payton Kaminski lead the defense with 21 digs and added 3 aces. The team returns to action next week when they travel to Waupaca Tuesday night.

The Varsity soccer team faced Gibraltar/Sevastopol last night at home. The Spartans dominated the game and came away with a 2-0 win. Goals came from Johan Amador and Ethan Vandenhouten, while Quentin Massart made 4 saves to keep the clean sheet. The team's next game is Saturday at Roncalli.
Last night the varsity volleyball team gutted out a big 5 set win, beating Oconto Falls 3 game to 2. The Spartans came back to win the last 3 sets after going down 2 game to nothing. Alayna Deprez who dished out 43 assists. Leading the way offensivly was Aubrey Frey who had 21 kills, 21 digs, and 3 aces, Ella Vander Velden added 15 kills, 5 blocks, and 3 aces, and Miranda Schmidt chipped in 9 kills and 4 blocks. Brooke VandeHei 18 digs and Payton Kaminski 17 digs and 5 aces lead the way defensivley. A huge shout out to all the students and staff who made it to the match last night and helped make it a great atmoshphere, we appreciate you all. The team returns to action tomorrow when they travel to Wrightstown.

The cross country team competed at a meet hosted by St. Mary's Catholic on Tuesday. The boys finished third and the girls finished second. They boys were led by Kyan Lynts fourth place finish and Alex DeGrave's 11th place finish. The Girls were led by meet champion Claire Duchateau, and McKenna Rank finishing 8th.

Last night the varsity volleyball team swept Clintonvill in the home opener. Alayna Deprez paced the offense with 18 assists and 6 digs. Aubrey Frey had 9 kills, 9 digs and 7 aces, Miranda Schmidt added 7 kills, and Ella VanderVelden chipped in 5 kills. The team was dialed in from teh service line, accumulating 21 aces; Payton Kaminski and Brooke VandeHei chipped in 5 aces each. The team heads to Milwaukee this Friday and Saturday for the Charger Challenge. They return home NEXT Tuesday September 19 when they take on Oconto Falls.
