Washington, DC - What a Blast!
A big thank you to the parent chaperones - you were amazing.
Although the temperatures were at record high (95 on Thursday), the weather was perfect for the 7th/8th grade class trip. We had wonderful drivers and tour guides who took us to all the best spots which included the "Flight 93 Memorial", Gettysburg, the White House/Capital/Archives, Smithsonians, Arlington National Cemetary, National Cathedral, and Ford's Theater. We literally couldn't have packed in one more thing. We even witnessed the Presidential helicopter take off from the White House lawn while standing on the steps of the Jefferson Memorial!
