méxico 2020

Descripción del curso

This January-term study abroad course (SPAN 340) will introduce students to the culture of México first-hand. In addition to language and culture classes at a local institute (Instituto Cultural Oaxaca), students will live with host families and participate in guided visits to sites that illustrate Mexico's diverse cultural history. This course satisfies the immersion requirement for the Spanish minor as well as the all-college Intercultural requirement. Prerequisite: SPAN 302 strongly recommended. Enrollment is by consent of the instructor, and priority will be given to Spanish minors and majors.
