Mark your calendar for an awesome upcoming event! New Student Orientation is happening on July 29. You won't want to miss this event if you are new to Sierra!! We will go over Sierra policies and procedures, take a campus tour, and become acquainted with other students and families! We hope to see you there!

New Student Orientation / Family Welcome  

Wednesday, July 29, 2026

New Student Orientation is for all incoming 7th and 8th grade students who have not previously attended Sierra Middle School. Please plan to arrive a little early as we will begin our programs promptly and don't want you to miss a moment!

- Students with last names A–L and their parents/guardians: 9:30–11:30 AM

- Students with last names M–Z and their parents/guardians: 12:00–2:00 PM

During this event, students and parents/guardians will participate in separate programs designed to meet the needs of each group. Families and students will reunite at the end of the presentations.

Parents/guardians will have the opportunity to:

- refresh their district-required Aeries access

- meet the administration team

- review school procedures and expectations

- visit classrooms

- hear from Sierra teachers about academic programs and student expectations

Our major fundraiser for ASB for the year is our SMS Slime Run. It will be held on Thursday, September 24. Online donations can be made by using this QR Code and then selecting SMS Slime Run Donation 2026.
