About Me

As a veteran K-10 teacher, my passion for imparting knowledge has been driven by my own dedication to evolving my teaching practices as well as the following goals: developing each student's critical thinking and problem-solving skills and inspiring students to become interested in math and possibly following an accelerated math path in high school. I have dedicated my teaching career to achieving these goals.

I strive to create learning environments which motivate and inspire students, while providing them with the disciplined educational approach needed to establish a firm foundation for lifelong learning.

I am adept in classroom instruction, development of instruction plans, and parent-teacher relations. Moreover, while my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities, I also have a solid educational foundation and a passion for teaching. I am extremely enthusiastic about California's updated Math Framework and its focus on individualized instruction and would welcome the opportunity to contribute to improving all students’ math test scores.

Covid 19 has been harsh on myself and my family, I have been out of the classroom for a bit of time and am now eager and motivated to get back to doing what is my passion, teaching students.
