Dear Fifth Grade Families,

Welcome to a brand-new school year! I can’t wait to get to know each of you and begin a new year full of learning, creativity, laughter, and fun!

This is my third year at Learning Unlimited. I am so excited to continue this journey with our fifth graders. Our classroom is a place where we celebrate progress, support one another, take risks, and grow together. Every student will be encouraged to do their best, learn from mistakes, discover their strengths, and become the very best version of themselves.

🎓 Preparing for Middle School
Fifth grade is a big year! We’ll work on becoming more independent, responsible, organized, and confident learners as we prepare for the exciting transition to middle school.

And yes…we’ll have a couple of exciting field trips along the way! 🎉

🥪 A Few Important Reminders

Please be mindful of classmates who may have food allergies when packing lunches and snacks. We want our classroom to be a safe and comfortable place for everyone.

Also, all grapes—even for fifth graders—must be cut before being packed for school to help prevent choking.

⏰ Be On Time!

School begins at 8:20 a.m. and ends at 2:50 p.m.

Please make every effort to arrive on time and ready to learn each morning. Starting the day together helps us get off to a smooth and successful start!

I am so excited about everything this year has in store. We are going to learn, create, laugh, explore, challenge ourselves, and make some wonderful memories together.
