Welcome to Dutch Class!

Hello everyone,
My name is Ms. Alison Wanner, and I am delighted to be your Dutch teacher.

I have more than 15 years of experience in education, teaching children in both the Netherlands and the Caribbean. Learning Unlimited Preparatory School is the first English-speaking school where I have had the pleasure of teaching, and I am excited to begin my fourth year as part of this wonderful school community.

This year, I will be teaching Dutch to Grade 6.
Together, we will build a strong foundation in the Dutch language by developing essential language skills and learning how to communicate confidently in a variety of everyday situations. Throughout the year, we will work step by step toward preparing for the Grade 6 Dutch final examinations, with the goal of helping every student succeed.

In addition, I will introduce Junior Academy and Elementary School students to the Dutch language through fun, engaging lessons once a week. These classes will focus on learning basic vocabulary, simple sentences, and everyday expressions while fostering an appreciation for a new language and culture.

I am looking forward to working closely with our students and parents to make this a successful and enjoyable school year. Together, we will create a positive learning environment where every child feels encouraged to grow, explore, and achieve their best.
