My name is Ms.Shammah and I will be your first grade teacher this year. I am very excited about this new school year, and I cannot wait to meet you all.

This year, our classroom theme takes you on a musical journey as we have incorporated a few elements of music in the curriculum. Our students will explore rhythm, melody, dynamics and musical notation through the recorder in addition to the four core subjects: Math, Language, Science and Social Studies.

Grade one is a special year of growth and communication is key to success in our classroom.
