Each year we invite local K-12's and youth groups to participate in our Festival free of charge.
We provide chalk space for each group in our "dawning artist" arch on the Eastern side of the park. We give each registered group chalk and basic tools to use in creating their art.
After the Festival, we pay all our bills, then we look at our unexpended income and analyze how best to donate funds to the participating K-12s.
Our income comes from grants, donations and individual chalk square purchases. We encourage our artists to ask parents and employers to donate to our foundation and support the festival.

PreK-Grade 12 School and youth programs are invited to register teams/classes for FREE.
K-12 spaces are in 8'x8' blocks and include soft pastels and supplies for students to share.
Each team must be registered by a team leader who is over 18 years of age. An adult team leader must be on site and responsible for coordinating the student team while they are chalking their space.
Be sure to download the waiver form, have the parent or guardian sign for each participating student and have the team lead(s) sign for themselves.
Bring the waiver form(s) to the registration booth on the day of the festival.
Waiver form must be filled out for each participant; if you forgot to download it while registering you may Download the Waiver form Here
