The Cybersecurity program of study focuses on occupational and educational opportunities associated with planning, implementing, upgrading, or monitoring security measures for the protection of computer networks and information. This program of study includes responding to computer security breaches and viruses and administering network security measures.
Students completing this course of study will earn their Cybersecurity Certificate and walk in LSCO's graduation if they choose. All courses are taught in person.
The additional dual credit courses offered through Lumberton ISD are not covered by Lamar State College – Orange. LSCO will be providing an instructor to the LHS campus to offer these courses, therefore a fee will apply.
Course fees:
$45 per credit hour = $135 per course
$14 per credit hour for books and supplies = $42 per course
Total cost for each course = $177 per semester.
Some students may choose to opt out of purchasing books and supplies. Please note that course fees and availability may change each academic year.
