The Virtual Calming Room is a place where students, families and staff can find tools and strategies for managing emotions, feelings and to practice mindfulness techniques. Please check back frequently as more resources are added.
Mindfulness is the practice of learning to be present in the moment. By learning to focus on the moment you will find yourself practicing self-regulation skills. This helps kids check in with how they are feeling, what they are thinking and what they need. Mindfulness can be practiced through a variety of breathing techniques, strategies and activities.
