Each week we will have a spelling test. On Monday they will have the list in their take home folder. I encourage your child to write each word twice and you two discuss what the word means and put it in a sentence while you are visiting.

Reading is very important. Spend a few minutes each night reading together. You will find that your child will begin to read to you more and more but reading to them is just as important.
