Music class is an opportunity to explore creativity and express ourselves through music. My goal as your music teacher is to help facilitate a fun and positive learning environment. I do understand that not every child's favorite subject is music; however, as long as you come to class and try your absolute best every day, you will pass.

My grading policy is as follows and aligns with our district guidelines as outlined in the student handbook.

You can earn points by:

• • Outstanding behavior

  • Answering questions/Actively participating

  • Being kind and helpful to others in our classroom

You will lose points for the following reason(s):

• • Poor conduct

  • Failing to participate

  • Not being prepared

  • Not bringing your recorder to class
