Say, “Your future begins with the skills and choices you make today. Here are some skills that help in every career.”

Show pictures of different careers & ask what skills are needed for each.
Turn and talk w/ a neighbor for 1-2 minutes then share out:
A job I might want when I grow up is…”
Students can write on a card what their future career might be, tools they’d use, and skills they’d need.
Think of an occupation and then make up 3 clues that describe it. Have a classmate, or the whole class, guess the occupation.
