Grading Policies

My grading policies are consistent with the Lufkin Independent School District's Student Handbook policies.

Make up work: Students who miss work in class due to an absence are permitted to make up the work. The following schedule will be followed for make up assignments:

• 1st day absence - 1day following return to school

• 2nd day absence - 2 days after return to school

• 3rd day absence - 3 days after return to school

• 4th day absence - 4 days after return to school

Late Work

• Assignments will have deducted by 10 points for each day that an assignment is considered late.

• Students will have a 0 in the gradebook until the assignment has been completed.
