LISD Reading Academy Resource Guide
All teachers and administrators of kindergarten, first, second, or third-grade students will be required to attend a Texas Reading Academy. The Lufkin Independent School District (LISD) has been approved by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to serve as an Authorized Provider (AP) and will begin offering specialized Texas Reading Academy trainings through the in-person Comprehensive Program and through the internet-based training Blended Program. The Texas Reading Academy trainings will be delivered over ten days scheduled throughout the school year.
