I am Miss Heather Gilbert, the school counselor. This will be my second year as the Herty Primary School Counselor and I am so excited to be here with you all! I was a teacher for fourteen years before I became a school counselor. I taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. Young students are my favorite!

My primary responsibility is to form partnerships with students, families, and school staff members to help guide students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
