Grading Policies

My class will ultimately follow the standard Grading Policy.

If a student is absent, make-up work will be expected on the following schedule:

1st day absence - 1 day following return to school
2nd day absence - 2 days following return to school
3rd day absence - 3 days following return to school
(equal days thereafter)

If a student turns work in late, a zero will be placed in the gradebook until the work is turned in. Points will be taken off each day (up to 10 points per day).

Extra Credit Opportunities

Bonus points and extra credit opportunities will be announced periodically throughout the year.
