Mrs. Fullerton's Dyslexia Intervention

Mrs. Fullerton

I am a proud Texas Tech Red Raider.  I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Reading Instruction, a Master's Degree as a Certified Reading Specialist, trained in Neuhaus Basic Language Skills and is currently undergoing Certified Academic Language Therapist program.  I have taught 6, 7 and 8 grade English and 6 grade World Cultures in Miami, FL for 8 years.   Then when I moved back to Texas, I spent my first 5 years in Lufkin ISD teaching third and fifth grade English Language Arts and Reading. For the past 5 years, Mrs. Fullerton has served as the Literacy Interventionist at LMS, Anderson and Coston Elementary campus providing dyslexia therapy and reading intervention. As a Literacy Interventionist, I not only work with students, but also with teachers to provide science-based reading instruction. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and reading.
