Mrs. Fullerton

Mrs. Carman Fullerton is a  proud Texas Tech Red Raider.  She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Reading Instruction, a Master's Degree as a Certified Reading Specialist, trained in Neuhaus Basic Language Skills and is currently undergoing Certified Academic Language Therapist program.  She taught 6, 7 and 8 grade English and 6 grade World Cultures in Miami, FL for 8 years.   Then when she moved back to Texas, she spent her first 6 years in Lufkin ISD teaching third and fifth grade English Language Arts and Reading. For the past 3 years, Mrs. Fullerton has served as the Literacy Interventionist at LMS and Anderson Elementary providing dyslexia therapy and reading intervention. As a Literacy Interventionist, she not only works with students, but also with teachers to provide science-based reading instruction. When she isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and reading.
