1. The member must maintain passing grades in all subject areas and maintain appropriate behavior in all classes. 

2. Rehearsals are very IMPORTANT! Each member will be expected to attend all rehearsals (campus and district rehearsals). For absences to be excused, we require a note from a parent or a doctor. 

• A student must attend ALL district rehearsals as district rehearsals are only held once a month. If a student misses multiple rehearsals, the teachers will determine options for withdrawal.

Excused absence include:

• Absence from school during the day 

• Family Emergency

• Doctor’s Appointment

Unexcused absences include:

• Forgetting rehearsal

• Skipping rehearsal without a parent note

A member will be withdrawn from choir for any of the following reasons:

1. Three unexcused absences to a campus rehearsal. Two tardies equals one absence.

   • Unexcused = coming to school but skipping choir without a parent note, or missing a district rehearsal without notification

2. More than one absence to a district rehearsal, excused or unexcused. 

   • Extenuating circumstances are an exception to this rule

3. Lack of self-control and self-discipline in the regular music class or during rehearsals

4. 2 office referrals or in school suspension 

5. A 9-week failing grade in any subject

6. Any weekly conduct grade below 85

7. A campus principal can remove a student at any time for any reason

We will have a weekly practice at Brandon Elementary every Monday from 3:00pm - 4:15pm. Students will need to be picked up no later than 4:30pm. The following are all the rehearsal dates held at Brandon in Mr. H's room:
