About Me

My journey toward becoming a teacher started with my experience as a reading interventionist for 4 years. After that, I decided to go back to school. I graduated from Bemidji State University with a degree in elementary education in 2021. Before joining the Luck School District, I gained valuable experience in a variety of schools as a long-term sub. I also taught summer school each year with the Forest Lake School District in Minnesota. This is my 2nd year as a 5th grade teacher.

I recently moved from a farm in Osceola where I had a small zoo: 2 cats, 2 parrots, 2 dogs, and a rabbit in the house with woodchucks, turkey, foxes, coyotes, and deer in the yard! While I search for the perfect house of my own, I’ll be living with my grandmother in Luck. Although I miss the raccoon family visiting my deck and the bear wandering around, I am glad to be close to school and excited for my 2nd year teaching here.
