The Monterey High School Theatre program gives students opportunities to create, perform, design, build, and lead. Students gain hands-on experience in acting, stagecraft, makeup, costuming, lighting, sound, voice, theatre history, and full-scale productions.
The Plainsmen Players produce mainstage performances throughout the school year and participate in UIL One-Act Play competition each spring. Whether students work onstage or backstage, they build confidence, collaboration, responsibility, and creative problem-solving skills.
