Coronado students have multiple opportunities for tutoring.
All students:
Next Chance tutorials- These are offered in the evenings in the weeks leading up to report cards. Click this link for the Next Chance Tutorials schedule.
Individual teacher tutoring- Teachers have communicated with their students when they are available for tutoring. Check with your child's teacher for their tutoring times
HB 4545 students:
HB 4545 after school tutoring- Students that have failed any STAAR test are required to attend extra tutoring throughout the year. . Coronado will offer specific tutoring opportunities for these students. These students have been notified if they need to attend these tutoring times. Tutoring schedule is below:
English will be offered on Mondays
English and Algebra will be offered on Tuesdays.
All subjects offered on Wednesdays.
Algebra will be offered on Thursdays
**Students will report to room 221 for tutoring sessions and will need to make sure they sign in.
