Setting up folders for student sharing without using Google Classroom:
- Log into their Google account
- Go to Drive
- New folder, type your name
- Two finger right click on the folder, SHARE
- Type in teacher's name (first name.last name)
- Select name of your teacher when it pops up
- Click send
Teacher will find the student files in shared with me.

Right click and "Add to drive" on each folder, then drag each student folder into a named teacher folder for their class.
