Leisure Travel Van Western Sunsetters Saskatchewan Summer Rally
The Western Sunsetters Saskatchewan LTV Rally is scheduled to be held in Eastend, SK, from Tuesday, July 14, through Saturday, July 18.
The Location
Eastend is nestled in the historic Frenchman River Valley, known as the "Valley of Hidden Secrets," and is located on the historic Red Coat Trail (Highway #13)—the
original route of the North West Mounted Police's 1874 march west. The town is famously the home of Scotty, the World's Largest T-rex, and the location of the T.rex
Discovery Centre, which houses the 65-million-year-old fossilized remains of the first T.rex found in Saskatchewan.
The Rally
Thirty exclusive RV sites have been reserved for members. The anticipated registration fee is $200 per van, which encompasses four nights of camping, a minimum of one
communal meal, and entry to two local museums. Planned activities include a 40 km scenic bicycle excursion, evening musical entertainment and an optional group dinner
at the Harvest Eatery in Shaunavon.
