App Request Procedure

  • All requests for apps must go through the following Google Form: http://bit.ly/LTPSAppReq (please bookmark this link for future reference - it is case sensitive, in case you type it out). Any app requests made in person or sent via email to administrators, supervisors or the Tech Department will be politely declined with a reminder request to fill out the form.

  • Please complete ALL requested information on the form, including a direct (i.e., copied/pasted) link to the app from the App Store (the reason for this is that there are often multiple apps with the same name; this helps eliminate confusion and gets you your app quicker)

  • You may request that we install the same app on multiple iPads on a single form; please note that if there is a cost, it will be multiplied by the number of installations (e.g., a $0.99 app on 5 iPads will cost $4.95, not $0.99)

  • If you are requesting multiple apps, please complete a new form for each separate app, regardless of how many installations you need

  • All app requests are reviewed MONTHLY at the K-6 Supervisors’ Meeting (usually Monday or Tuesday of the third week of the month). Provided we don’t need any further information, we hand the list of approved apps over to IT that day and they are usually installed shortly thereafter. If there is an urgent/extenuating circumstance that requires an app be installed sooner than the usual cycle (e.g., communication app for a nonverbal student), please email Kristin Burke directly to discuss.
