IXL

IXL is a learning platform for primarily math and language arts classes. Typically, students will complete individual practice using IXL to reinforce a skill learned in class. To use IXL, teachers will students to the class list. When students login using their assigned credentials, they will be able to view units for practice assigned by their teacher. FlipGrid

FlipGrid is a video-based discussion tool often used by teachers during remote learning. Teachers will assign a video-prompt to which students will record a response. Then, students can record replies to other peers, making for an asynchronous video discussion. Students will sign in with Google to post to FlipGrid. EdPuzzle

With Edpuzzle, students can only watch the video lessons assigned by the teacher. In other words, the teacher will be the one filtering the content from YouTube so that students can only view educational content. Teachers embed their own questions in the video, and students will receive immediate feedback so they can see if they’ve understood the content or not. Students will sign in with Google. Explorelearning Gizmos

Fun and easy to use, Gizmos help students develop a deep understanding of challenging concepts through inquiry and exploration. Students use Gizmos to interact with and explore hundreds of math and science topics ranging from heredity to trigonometry. Teachers use Gizmos as dynamic "what-if" tools to help students move beyond memorizing to true understanding. Students will receive login information from their teacher. Legends of Learning is a game based learning (GBL) platform that gives educators the unique ability to launch a “playlist” of curriculum-based games for students, aligned to current content standards. ...
