The FAFSA opens October 1, 2026 for the 2027-28 school year and is the first step in the financial aid process!
In accordance with Texas Legislature House Bill 3, each student must do one of the following in order to graduate:
 Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
   Complete and submit a Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) // only for non-citizens who are classified as Texas residents
Submit a signed opt out form to the student's alpha counselor // English, Spanish
