STEPS (Student Training & Education in Public Service) can help students who are considering ROTC obtain a better understanding of the benefits (to include exclusive scholarship opportunities) and the recommended major to pair with ROTC that will help prepare them for a military career.

Occasionally we have various Branches of Military contact us offering personnel available to speak with interested students. In order for us to connect students with this military personnel, we need to know which students are interested and what Branches of service they are interested in.
ASVAB Test
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test is a multiple-aptitude test that measures abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success, particularly for military recruitment.
The test is more than a military entrance exam. Students can use their ASVAB results to learn more about their interests and strengths, explore careers, and plan their future. Talk to your counselor to find out when the ASVAB test is offered at LTHS. Find out more about the ASVAB Test
