FAFSA/Financial Aid Information
FAFSA GRADUATION REQUIREMENT:
Beginning with the Class of 2022, it is now a graduation requirement to complete FAFSA/TASFA. If you/your parent wish to opt out of this requirement, complete this form (students must be 18) and give to your counselor. For the Spanish version, please use this form. See your counselor if you have questions.
Find FAFSA/TAFSA workshops around the Austin area HERE (sessions are available in-person and virtually;
all are open to any student/parent).
FEDERAL FINANCIAL AID can be awarded by the government and by the institution of higher learning that you attend. The amount of financial aid offered is based on need and can come in the form of grants or loans. The FAFSA (Federal Application for Student Aid) can be filled out starting December of the senior year. We know filling out FAFSA can be confusing; see below for resources.
