LTISD Instructional Plans
In Lake Travis ISD, instruction is aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS), English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), and 21st Century Skills.
LTISD Instructional Frameworks
LTISD instructional frameworks are built off of the Texas Education Agency's research-based instructional strategies. A team of teachers, coaches, administrators, and regional office employees received specialized training in TEA's strategies and then worked to align them with district priorities and LTISD's mission, core commitments, and goals to develop the frameworks you see below. These strategies are based on the science of how students learn best, focusing on core concepts, critical thinking, and deep understanding.
