The Lake Superior Village Youth & Family Center After School Program provides a safe, supportive space for youth ages 5–17 to unwind, refuel, and grow after the school day ends. Each afternoon, participants receive homework help and tutoring, a nutritious evening meal, and access to engaging enrichment activities that support learning and creativity.
Our program also places strong emphasis on social-emotional learning (SEL) and physical activity, helping youth build confidence, strengthen relationships, and stay active in a positive, supervised environment. Through teamwork, movement, and guided reflection, young people develop important life skills while having fun.
Families can feel confident knowing their children are cared for in a welcoming space that supports academic success, emotional well-being, and healthy development—at no cost to families.
