Journalism/Media Literacy

Journalism/Media Literacy will begin second semester: January 2021

In Journalism/Media Literacy students learn about the basics of journalism; consider and discuss the responsibilities and ethics of journalists; and produce a school paper, which involves research, interviews, writing, editing, revising, and more revising. Students will also assess informative writing and emphasize how to engage our readers. With regards to media literacy, students will examine, speak about, and write about news’ sources and bias.
