I grew up in Northern Ontario, surrounded by beautiful forests and lakes, which probably explains my love for adventure and connection with nature. Northern Ontario will always feel like home, but I’ve loved exploring beyond it. During my final year of high school, I spent an unforgettable year studying abroad in Australia, where I juggled school and many amazing volunteer opportunities.
That experience sparked a deep curiosity about the world -- what created it, what shaped it, and how it all fits together. That curiosity led me to Michigan, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology, and later to Wyoming, where I am currently perusing PhD in geophysics. These experiences have allowed me to combine my love for nature, exploration, and discovery into a lifelong passion.
When I am not looking at rocks, I love spending time outdoors; rock climbing, hiking, skiing, skating, riding motocross or just exploring new trails. On quieter days, I enjoy spending my time painting, knitting or relaxing at home with my cat, Moose.
