Parent Consultation

One of the most critical aspects of creating a caring, collaborative community at Richardson is effective communication. Toward that end, Parent Consultation with the counselor takes on a valuable role in this community building process. Counselors may consult with parents regarding academic and/ social issues related to their children in an effort to create the most positive environment for children to learn and grow. The parent, the teacher, school administrator, or the counselor may initiate this type of consultation.
